Modular megaendoprosthetic replacement of the proximal femur affected by osteoblastoclastoma

Proximal femoral replacement with simultaneous muscle reconstruction is an urgent problem for the treatment of proximal femoral tumors. The authors analyze the data available in the literature and their own clinical observation of proximal femoral resection; the resulting bone and soft tissue defects were replaced using a modular endoprosthesis.
