Women’s reproductive health in Russia has deteriorated significantly over the past 30 years. There has been an increase in the incidence of civilization diseases, such as abnormal uterine bleeding and, consequently, iron deficiency anemia, endometriosis, hyperplastic processes (uterine fibroids, etc.), as well as pregnancy complications; perinatal outcomes have worsened. Changes in the traditional ways of indigenous minority peoples in the North (Khanty and Mansi), urbanization, occupational changes, etc. adversely affect reproductive health.
