Intraoperative innovative technologies and intravenous laser blood irradiation in the combination treatment of bilateral drug-resistant destructive pulmonary tuberculosis

Surgical treatment for drug-resistant bilateral pulmonary tuberculosis is a difficult task due to the fact that destructive processes are morphologically dominant in drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis and it is difficult to achieve stabilization of the process through traditional drug therapy. A comprehensive approach with innovative collapse surgical procedures and intravenous laser blood irradiation could attain clinical recovery and complete social adaptation in a female patient with complicated bilateral fibrous-cavernous tuberculosis with multidrug resistance of the pathogen.
