The paper analyzes the results of 625 elective and emergency herniotomies carried out for inguinal hernias and their complications at Moscow City Clinical Hospital Sixty-Seven in the period 2005 to 2016. A relationship of the incidence of postoperative hematomas to the techniques of inguinal herniotomy has been determined.
