Neuropsychological aspects of the course of type 1 diabetes mellitus

The time course of changes in the neuropsychological aspects of the course of type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) was estimated in 126 patients. There was a decrease in quality of life (QOL), as well as preservation of reduced cognitive function (CF) for 5 years. Cognitive rehabilitation has a positive effect on CF and QOL in patients with T1DM.
