Гипогликемия у госпитализированных пациентов с СД2

Гипогликемия является одним из наиболее частых нежелательных явлений у пациентов с сахарным диабетом (СД) типа 2 и встречается чаще, чем осложнения, связанные с гипергликемией, особенно среди пожилых и пациентов, длительно страдающих СД. Каждая 4-я неотложная госпитализация по поводу побочных эффектов лекарств связана с гипогликемией, еще выше этот показатель у пожилых пациентов. Тяжелая гипогликемия прочно ассоциируется с травматизмом, возникновением желудочковой аритмии, деменции и смертью, ухудшает качество жизни пациентов. Лечение гипогликемии остается дорогостоящим. Тяжелая гипогликемия, будучи распространенным явлением среди госпитализированных пациентов, представляет значительную угрозу для их здоровья и требует системных вмешательств для улучшения результатов лечения.
