Продемонстрированы основные этиологические и патогенетические механизмы развития неалкогольной жировой болезни печени. Особое внимание уделено тактике ведения подобных больных, исходя из рекомендаций Американской коллегии гастроэнтерологов, Американской гастроэнтерологической ассоциации, Американской ассоциации по изучению болезней печени, Европейской ассоциации по изучению болезней печени, Европейской ассоциации по изучению диабета, Европейской ассоциации по изучению ожирения, Российского общества по изучению печени и Российской гастроэнтерологической ассоциации.
