Recurrence of external genital endometriosis is one of the most difficult problems of modern gynecology. The progression of the disease, namely the presence of persistent pain syndrome, is largely accompanied by pronounced psychological disorders in patients, and as a consequence, a decrease in the quality of life. The purpose of this review is to analyze modern literature sources on the problem of recurrence of external genital endometriosis, as well as systematization of data on rehabilitation methods and tactics of disease treatment. The increased number of recurrences of external genital endometriosis, both in the presence and in the absence of combined treatment, indicates the need to create rehabilitation technologies aimed at predicting and early diagnosis of recurrence of the disease and improving the quality of life of patients.
