The issue of where psychoautonomic disorders should be assigned to neurological or mental illness still remains open when diagnosing autonomic nervous system (ANS) disorders. The authors have studied the clinical features of the autonomic syndrome and the spectrum of somatic and mental manifestations in inpatients with the neurological profile of ANS disorders.
