Silent myocardial ischemia and hormonal contraception in young women with metabolic syndrome

The frequency and severity of silent myocardial ischemia (SMI) were established in late reproductive-aged women with metabolically healthy obesity and various estradiol level; the effect of estrogen-containing contraceptives on the frequency and severity of manifestations of SMI was evaluated.
