The efficiency of transcranial electrical stimulation (TES) is evaluated. TES is a physiotherapy technique, the points of application of which are the activation of the stress-limiting system and cytokine network and the stimulation of the opioidergic system. The role of nonspecific adaptive mechanisms in the pathogenesis of these or those diseases has been significantly studied today. Understanding the phenomenon of TES and its introduction as an adjunct to drug therapy into clinical practice has great opportunities. The essence of this technique is to deliver a pulse current into the brain through the scalp. The stress-limiting system is one of the most important components of TES, and all the effects of the technique are due to its central and peripheral implications.
