PREVENTION OF CHOLELITHIASIS

The paper gives evidence for the expediency and efficiency of preventing cholelithiasis, the important methods of which are to increase physical activity, to lose weight, and to modify a diet. It provides a rationale for using ursodeoxycholic acid in the risk group to prevent cholelithiasis.
