Согласно полученным в метаанализе результатам, безопасного уровня курения для сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний, рисков развития рака и ряда соматических заболеваний не существует. Убедительно показана необходимость рекомендаций курильщикам полностью отказаться от курения, а не сокращать число выкуриваемых сигарет.
