The efficiency of protein-energy malnutrition screening methods was evaluated in hemodialysis patients. It is not reasonable to use the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool, the Nutritional Risk Screening, the Nottingham Screening Tool, the Malnutrition Screening Tool, and the Malnutrition Inflammation Score due to their low predictive value.
