При гломерулонефритах на преддиализной стадии хронической болезни почек у мужчин превалирует формирование концентрической левожелудочковой гипертрофии, которая ассоциируется с развитием клинически значимых аритмий сердца. Пациенты же женского пола с хроническим гломерулонефритом характеризуются замедлением скорости клубочковой фильтрации, развитием анемии, ростом частоты эксцентрического варианта гипертрофии левого желудочка и наджелудочковой эктопической активности.
