Наиболее высокие показатели качества жизни (КЖ) наблюдались у реципиентов почечного трансплантата. Показатели КЖ у получающих заместительную почечную терапию при отсутствии синдрома белковоэнергетической недостаточности ухудшаются по мере увеличения возраста пациентов и стажа заместительной почечной терапии.
