Combination treatment for delayed union and pseudoarthrosis of the navicular bone

The authors analyze the results of combination treatment for the navicular bone with the combined osteotropic drug Osteomed and those of the use of external fixators. Scaphoid union was achieved in 96% of cases. Positive results are confirmed by the data of Disabilities of Arm, Shoulder, and Hand (DASH) and Mayo Wrist Score scales, which allows one to recommend the proposed method for wide clinical use.
