The paper provides an overview of the use of metabolic drug сocarnit in patients with diabetic polyneuropathy (DPNP). It considers the pathogenesis of DPNP in light of the development of oxidative stress in diabetes mellitus and the effect of medicines that are contained in сocarnit on its manifestation.
