Hypertensive angioretinopathy is detected in 40% of cases. Analysis of morphopathological, clinical, and morphological (according to optical coherence tomography data) findings, as well as data of current diagnosis (by taking into account blood flow in the retinal central artery and retinal photosensitivity) is of importance for the early diagnosis of retinopathy in hypertension.
