MORPHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE LOWER UTERINE SEGMENT IN PATIENTS WITH PLACENTA PREVIA

The paper gives the morphological evaluation of the lower uterine segment during physiological pregnancy and in the presence of placenta previa. Structural changes in this uterine segment in the presence of placenta previa should be considered as a factor that increases the risk of postpartum hemorrhage.
