A concurrence of dyscirculatory encephalopathy (DE) with diabetic polyneuropathy (DPN), frontal ataxia, vestibulopathy, pyramid syndrome, and blood levels of trace elements in these conditions were studied. An anticomorbidity of DE and DPN was established; the specific features of a profile of the trace elements that are characteristic for each of the neurological disorders were defined. Assessments of risks for the examined abnormalities were given in relation to their clinical presentations, drug intake, diet, and physical activity in patients.
