The efficiency and safety of treatment for chronic vulvovaginal infection with a novel topical agent containing metronidazole and miconazole (Metromicon-Neo® vaginal suppositories, Aveksima, Russia) were evaluated by analyzing different clinical and laboratory parameters and susceptibility to antimicrobial drugs and by assessing quality of life in patients through with the SF-26 questionnaire.
